We were founded by Delmar Smith in reaction to the cutback of human services provided to our community. We realized that without the help that was formerly provided by agencies-such as Community Action-many of our residents would be put into peril. With support from the citizens of Alliance Nebraska and Box Butte county, we have had measured success in helping the truly needy in our community.
Delmar and Dee Smith have worked tiredlessly in providing assistance: by distributing new and used clothing, household goods, toys for Christmas, beds and bedding, the coat program for children, and school supplies for need children--all which has been donated by the caring citizens of Alliance.

Founding members Victoria Gresens, Kirk Forest, Jean Smith, Sandy Smith, K. C. Hinman, and Judy Bagget are the backbone of our organization; volunteerism is the fuel that drives our vehicle.
